Before a peptide claim: three evidence cards for pet owners
Use three cards to keep a product label, a research result and your own pet’s concern separate. This is an evidence-reading exercise, not veterinary advice.
Complete transcript
0 seconds: Before a peptide claim
Make three evidence cards. Start with your pet's concern. Keep a hoped-for benefit separate from what a source actually measured.
8 seconds: 01 / The label card
Which product? Which population?. Record the exact product, document date, condition and limitations. A human label describes its named human population.
16 seconds: 02 / The research card
Species. Preparation. Outcome.. Write down the study population, formulation, route, comparator and measured outcome. Mark missing details as not retrieved.
24 seconds: 03 / The pet discussion card
What matters for this animal?. Bring the actual concern and product label to your veterinarian. Ask which evidence supports the proposed benefit.
32 seconds: Try a claim check
Same word, same evidence?. A shared compound name is not the whole comparison. Match the preparation and population before applying a result.
40 seconds: Bring clearer questions
